Using evidence-based medicine to get to the root cause and connecting the dots to your symptoms

  • This 70 minute initial consultation is for us to gain a comprehensive overview of how your body is functioning as a whole and what root causes may be contributing to your symptoms. We will cover everything from individual body systems to current dietary and lifestyle influences and then together discuss a plan moving forward based on your individual circumstances and health goals.

  • Return consultations are to maintain and further progress your care and ensure you are on track to reach your health goals. They allow us to address any longer term treatments as well as any other symptoms that may arise.

    45 minutes

  • This 45 minute initial consultation is for us to gain a comprehensive overview of how your child’s body is functioning as a whole and what root causes may be contributing to their symptoms. We will cover everything from individual body systems to current dietary and lifestyle influences and then together discuss a plan moving forward based on your individual circumstances and health goals.

    45 minutes

  • Return consultations are to maintain and further progress your care and ensure you are on track to reach your health goals. They allow us to address any longer term treatments as well as any other symptoms that may arise.

    30 minutes

  • 3x 1:1 sessions spread over 3 months to get to the root cause of your symptoms and give you a boost to get started on your health journey.

  • Had some pathology done by your G.P. and unsure what the results mean? This short 30-minute consult is for us to go over and discuss your results from an evidence-based scientific perspective.

  • If you have a complex medical history or would just love to have a chat before committing to a consultation, then book in for a discovery call to briefly chat through your health goals.

All testing packages require a follow-up consultation for interpretation of findings and are exclusive of P&H fees.

How to order:

  1. Book a consultation with Bec in 6 weeks’ time

    (new clients please choose initial consultation, existing clients select return consultation)

  2. You will be emailed an invoice and required forms requiring details for your request. Please ensure these are filled out in order to receive your test.

  3. Your collection kit will be sent to you within 2 weeks. Blood collection can be taken at your local pathology collection place.

    N.B. Some testing can take up to 4-5 weeks to return, so allow plenty of time before your consult

  • The comprehensive microbiome map gives an overview of how your gut is functioning, including testing for parasites, opportunistic bacteria, viruses, and pathogens that may be contributing to any acute or chronic gastrointestinal symptoms of disease.

  • The FIT panel tests for 176 foods, colourings, & additives alongside inflammatory analysis for markers relating to gut-barrier and permeability.

  • The complete thyroid profile is a blood test that assesses 8 markers of thyroid function, giving you a comprehensive overview of how your thyroid is functioning. Unlike standard testing which usually includes TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) and occasionally T3 & T4, the profile test includes TSH, total and free T4 & T3, revers T3, as well as autoantibodies TPO & TG.

  • This hormone panel tests for 8 key women’s reproductive hormones, including Estradiol (E2), Progesterone, Testosterone, DHEA, Cortisol (AM/ Noon/ Evening/ PM)

  • The DUTCH test is a complete urinary test that provides a comprehensive overview of sex and adrenal hormones.

  • The cortisol profile provides a 24h overview of stress hormones and their peak.

  • Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological conditions are likely to secrete variations of several organic acids. The OAT test can provide an overall insight in to systems and provide extensive information regarding energy production, cognitive function, digestive function, plus more and provides general indicators of gastrointestinal imbalances, oxalate metabolism, neurotransmitter metabolites, fatty acid oxidation and many other metabolites.

  • The Autoimmune profile is a blood test that detects auto-antibodies indicating a presence of autoimmune disease. Conventional medicine broadly assesses Anti-nuclear Antibodies (ANA) and Extractable Nuclear Antigens (ENA) where the Autoimmune Profile tests 7 markers assisting in pinpointing which specific types of tissues are affected and provide more context with which autoimmune conditions may be indicated.

  • The hair analysis test is a hair test that provides information regarding ongoing exposure to potentially toxic metals, especially mercury and arsenic as well as the status of 16 toxic elements and 23 mineral elements.

  • The Vaginal microbiome test examines the presence of opportunistic bacteria and viral infections, including bacterial vaginosis (BV), vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), and trichomoniasis (TV) plus more. The vagina is home to a complex ecosystem of organisms crucial to keeping us healthy however disruption of this is common.

  • All conventional pathology through Douglas Hanly Moir and Laverty will be ordered on an as-required basis following consultation.
